Gerry Rush, joined the Harrisonburg office of PBGH in 1989 where she has worked with clients in individual tax planning and the not for profit, governmental, agricultural, retailing, and trucking industries.

In addition to corporation and individual income tax issues, she has experience in not-for-profit tax compliance reporting, payroll and property taxes, and compensation plans.

Ms. Rush received a MS Degree in Accounting in 1988 from James Madison University and a BS Degree in Chemistry in 1963 from Eastern Mennonite College. She holds a CPA Certificate issued in Virginia in 1992.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Rush regularly serves on two not-for-profit boards. Currently, she serves as Treasurer on the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community Board of Trustees and President of the Highland Retreat Board of Trustees.
