Betsy Hedrick is an audit partner as of January 1, 2011 in our Harrisonburg office. Betsy has over 14 years of experience in public accounting and auditing. Over the last 12 years she has managed auditing engagements for governmental entities, including counties, cities, towns, and authorities. In addition to specializing in governmental auditing, Betsy is a leader of our auditing team to ensure we maintain professional standards. She also serves for-profit businesses such as: closely held business clients, trucking and manufacturing companies.

She graduated in 1997 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a BS Degree with a major in Accounting. Upon graduation, she joined the local office of McGladrey and Pullen which later merged with PBGH in 2001. She holds a Certified Public Accounting Certificate from Virginia which was issued in 1999.

Betsy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Public Accountants, Virginia Government Finance Officers Association, and the Government Finance Officers Association.

She has been recognized for her contributions by Virginia Business magazine in partnership with her peers at the Virginia Society of CPAs as a "Super CPA".
