Kevin Humphries is a partner in our Harrisonburg office. He has over 25 years of accounting, audit, tax and consulting experience focused on not-for-profit organizations and closely held businesses. Kevin joined PBGH through a merger with a local local office of McGladrey and Pullen in 2001, He serves the firm as quality assurance partner for its attest practice, and manages audit engagements for a diverse client base. He provides consulting services in business planning and litigation support.

He received a BS Degree with Special Attainments in Commerce and majors in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University in 1981. He graduated from Eastern Mennonite University with an MBA, which included course work at James Madison University and the University of Virginia. He has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia since 1984.

Kevin is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and serves on its Technical Standards Sub-Committee. He also chairs the Virginia Society of CPA's Professional Ethics Committee and is a qualified reviewer in its Peer Review Program. He is a member of the National Association of Valuation Analysts.

Kevin serves as director of several not-for-profit organizations and a homeowners' association and is a frequent speaker on topics associated with managing exempt organizations. For several consecutive years, has been recognized by Virginia Business Magazine as one of "Virginia's Super CPA's" in Assurance Services, a distinction bestowed on a select number of practioners in the Commonwealth.
