Mensel D. Dean serves as an Audit Partner. In this role, he will have ultimate responsibility for the overall quality of an audit and will ensure required professional services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

Mr. Dean has extensive auditing and consulting experience in the governmental, utility, construction, trucking, health care, education and not-for-profit areas.

Previously, he has served as a member of the local government specification team selected by the Auditor of Public Accounts of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Accounting and Auditing Committee of the American Trucking Association, and the Quality Control Committee of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Dean was a member of the Committee to Study State and Local Taxation in the 21st Century which was appointed by the Virginia House of Delegates.

Mr. Dean, a graduate of Bridgewater College with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, holds a CPA certificate in Virginia.

Mr. Dean, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Public Accountants and the Virginia Government Finance Officers Association.

Each year since inception of the award, Mr. Dean he been recognized by Virginia Magazine and the Virginia Society of CPAs as a "Super CPA", a recognition bestowed on a select number of practitioners in the Commonwealth.
