Susan Steele-Ward joined the accounting staff of PBGH in our Harrisonburg office in 1997. She worked with McGladrey and Pullen in Harrisonburg prior to the merger with our firm. Susan is a Manager who oversees our Harrisonburg Small Business Group as well as, a Tax resource to our clients and staff.

Susan obtained her degree from James Madison University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She then completed her accounting concentration degree in 1996, also from JMU. She became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1997.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). Susan is Treasurer of the Harrisonburg Education Foundation Board, a member (and previous chair) of the Harrisonburg Rockingham Chamber of Commerce High School Business Symposium committee and a member of the RMH Business and Civic Committee.

Susan is a QuickBooks � Pro-Advisor and leads a partnership and training with Shenandoah Small Business Development Center. She focuses on small businesses, trust and estate work, however has a broad knowledge in the tax arena.

Susan and her husband Tom live in Harrisonburg.
