John Vincie is a tax partner and is Partner-in-Charge of the Warrenton office.

John is a native of Rockingham County and graduated from Turner Ashby High School in 1968. He did his undergraduate work at Virginia Tech and later went back and received a Masters in Accounting in 1976.

After completing graduate school, John joined the Baltimore office of an international accounting firm. He was with that firm for five years and advanced to the level of tax supervisor before joining PBGH in 1981.

John is actively involved in many civic and charitable organizations. John served on the Board and was Treasurer for the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce; he served on the Board and was past-president of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Boys and Girls Club. He was a founding member, past-president and serves on the Board for the Community Foundation of Harrisonburg/Rockingham County.

He is the past Chairman (2004-2005) for the Virginia Society of CPAs. In addition, he is a member and past board member on the council of the American Institute of CPAs and is licensed in Virginia and West Virginia. He has been a partner with PBGH since 1989.

John and his wife, Margaret reside in The Plains, VA.
