Carolyn Irwin joined our Fredericksburg office in 2004 upon moving to the community. Carolyn had previously interned during her college career and joined a big four firm soon after graduation where she was employed for a little over a year. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2002 with accounting as her major from the University of Notre Dame. In 2003 she obtained her Master of Science in Accountancy with a concentration in Taxation also from the University of Notre Dame.

Carolyn received her certification as a Public Accountant in 2004 and became a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Virginia Society of Public Accountants (VSCPA) and the Battlefield Chapter of the VSCPA.

Carolyn currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Hospice Support Care. She and her family are active in their church in King George.

Carolyn provides tax services to small business and individuals with a concentration in the non-profit area. She has been published in a nationally circulated magazine as well as, local business publications.
