Dan Haynes, CPA, CFE, CFF joined the accounting staff of PBGH in our Fredericksburg office as an Audit Manager in October 2002. Prior to joining our firm, he was a senior manager with a "big four" firm in Richmond, Virginia where he specialized in auditing both privately held companies and SEC registrants in a variety of industries including manufacturing, government contracting and real estate.

Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he currently serves on the peer review committee, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Dan is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and was recently awarded the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is involved in civic organizations and is active in the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce.

Dan graduated from James Madison University in 1989, with a Bachelor of Business Arts degree in Accounting. Dan and his family live in Spotsylvania County.
