Brad joined the firm in January 1988 in our Harrisonburg office and relocated to our Fredericksburg office in August of that year. Brad passed the CPA exam in October 1990 and earned the Certified Management Accountant designation in October of 1994. He was recently awarded the Certified in Fraud Forensics (CFF) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Brad was appointed as a Partner in our firm January 2002.

Brad serves a wide variety of business and individual clients. He served as leader of the firm's construction and real estate services team and is now leading a taskforce developing specialized services to emerging growth companies and their founders for both "old" and "new" economy industries. He manages financial accounting and auditing and managerial accounting consulting services. Brad also provides management advisory services including accounting information systems design, strategic business planning, and new venture and exit strategies. Brad also serves on the firm's technology committees and serves as the Fredericksburg office LAN administrator.

Brad is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Virginia Society of CPAs where he has been appointed Chair for 2010 - 2011, National Association of Valuation Analysts and the Institute of Management Accountants. Brad is active in his profession and his community. Brad has taught credited accounting courses at Strayer University, he has served as an adjunct instructor for Germanna Community College teaching a variety of accounting and tax courses and has served as instructor for various continuing professional education courses. He has served as President for the Battlefield Chapter of the VSCPA and has served on various state committees. Brad serves as a board member for a number of local not-for profit organizations in Fredericksburg. He is also active in the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.

He and his family reside in Spotsylvania County.
