Dan joined the accounting staff in Fredericksburg in August of 1996. He is originally from Bridgewater, Virginia, and graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administrative degree in accounting.

Along with traditional accounting services, Dan has been designated as a Personal Financial Specialist by the American Institute of CPA's and a Certified Financial Planner by the CFP Board. To obtain these designations one must demonstrate experience in personal financial planning activities and complete a comprehensive examination that tests risk management, investment, retirement, estate and personal income tax planning knowledge.

He is a tax partner, providing experience and knowledge of tax laws and their interpretations.

Dan is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Stafford Rotary.

He and his family currently reside in Spotsylvania.
