Community involvement - PBGH is a socially responsible and involved organization. We realize that participation in the everyday activities of the communities in which we are located is essential to building strong relationships which benefit everyone.
We encourage our staff to become involved in a civic or charitable organization which they are passionate about.
One firm-wide charity that PBGH supports is the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Each year our offices fundraiser and walk in support of cancer research and education.
- The Harrisonburg office of PBGH, LLP will be volunteering at Stuff the Bus on Sunday, 8/7/2011, from 5-8 pm. In the meantime, we’ve been collecting donations and school supplies to bring with us to help “stuff” the bus.
- The Fredericksburg office participated in The Free Lance-Star's annual "Soap Box Derby" event for its first time on June 12th, 2010.

A valuable part of recruiting is a strong commitment to the profession. PBGH maintains a strong relationship with the professors at the colleges and universities from which we recruit. Through involvement in the VSCPA Education Foundation, Beta Alpha Psi and Accounting Societies we are able to educate upcoming accounting graduates on trends in the profession and opportunities offered as a public accountant.
